Collab with Natalia Homolova and Motel Rocks

During my last week at Motel Rocks, I had the opportunity to shoot with the gorgeous blogger Natalia Homolova, Aka Natinstablog.Shooting in Shoreditch, we had great fun finding this quirky alleyway to give the shoot a real urban street feel with all the prints really popping against the background!
The stunning babe was fab to work with, effortlessly posing and looked gorg in all the Motel gear!

The blue tones of the Geo print on the Anick Roll Neck Dress looked striking on Natalia against the graffiti wall.

Both the Zoe High Waisted Track Pants and Mr. T. Top are in Honeycombe White Spandex.

Again Natalia is in the Mr. T. Top styled together with the Annie A Line Skirt in Santorini Blue, perfect for the spring season coming up!

The final outfit, which is my favourite is the Blackout Babydoll Dress in Dried Roses.
Shop all now at Motel and grab Natalia's style at her blog!

Shooting with Motel

I am at the end of my final week with the lovely ladies at Motel! What a fantastic experience it has been where I have had a real insight into the industry and met some fab people on the way.

My favourite part would have to have been when April (another intern) and I got to shoot with the gorgeous clothing there. The one shoot in particular I enjoyed was our shoot at Blues Kitchen which was a totally stunning location.

April is always such a giggle to work with, throwing fun poses and kept me laughing the whole time. These are always the best shoots, when you get to bounce off each others ideas and creativity.

It was sad to say my goodbyes at Motel, but we have promised to keep in touch for future shoots. This has helped give me a massive kick up the bum to continue shooting as much as possible (I'm already planning another three shoots!).

As a goodbye from all the girlies, I recieved a lovely lil beauty gift box from +Motel Rocks. This included some Halo Wipes, goergeous Clipper Green Tea, Fudge Urban Hairspray, Witch Skin care, Batiste Dry Shampoo, excellant Bed Head Hairspray, St. Moriz fake tan (needed to get rid of my winter pale!), Luli Vanilla e-shisha (very tasty) and a new colourfull pallette from Makeup Revoloution which I can't wait to have fun with!

Makeup Tutorial - Smokey Eyes!

I have been asked many times by friends about how I do my make up so I thought I'd make a little tutorial on how I do my party smokey eyes!

The photos are a bit rubbish for now but I hope this helps!

 Step 1
Make sure your whole face is fully moisturized, first because it is great for your skin, secondly it helps the makeup last longer and keeps it from cracking over the evening!

Step 2
After pencilling on my eyebrow, I always like to put a bit of cover up stick over my eyelids as mine are very purple, again this does help the makeup keep for longer. I then sweep a white over my whole lid all the way up to the eyebrow, this highlights and lifts the lid.
Step 3
Grabbing a gold/natural brown colour, I sweep across the middle of the lid to the end. Folding a peice of tissue paper, I hold this from the end of my eye across to my eyebrow creating the perfect shape then add a dark brown to that side of the lid.
 Step 4
Using a pencil eyeliner, I define the top lid and create a small flick at the end.
In this picture, I have added a little bit of black/grey eyeshadow over my lid for a more dramatic effort, this is entirely up to you depending on how smokey you want it to look!
 Step 5
After applying cover up stick under my eyes, (I do this now due to the amount of eyeshadow that falls on your cheek during application) I place a small amount of white on the inner eye to make them appear bigger.
Step 6
Using a gold again across the middle of the bottom of the eye then blend it into a darker brown towards the end of the eye, very similarly to how we did the top eyelid!
 Step 7
Using a pencil eyeliner, I follow the shape of the inner eye and extend slightly to create a cat eye look! Then while colouring the inner eye, I make sure it smudges a little bit onto the lower lid to create a smokey look.
Step 8
This is where I go over the top eyeliner and bottom eyeliner with liquid eyeliner as this makes the look far more defined and also makes it last a lot longer!
Step 9
Last but defo not least, mascara! I always make sure to do the first coat on the wrong way first, coating the top of the lashes then go the right way and pull the lashes upwards, this makes them appear a lot thicker!
Tada! I hope my small editorial helped with all of you who have asked me! Enjoy!

Turning Point

These past couple of weeks at Motel have by far been my favourite with helping out planning and photographing the Sample Sale to shooting some looks for their blog!

I met the lovely ladies at Glitter Lips who were amazing and I am defo looking into getting their product for christmas! At first I was unsure about bringing that much attention to my thin lips, however they really do bring them out! The constant solidness of the glitterlips gives them shape and definition.

On the left is the lovely Lucy and I with our Glitterlips on and on the right is Emily, April and I on are first shoot for Motel!

It has been a crazy week at Motel but well worth it! Here are the beautiful girls with products from the Meringue Girls!

I will be putting more images up from the shoot I did with Motel so watch this space!

The Last Geisha was the last shoot I did which was part of a university shoot inspired primarily by Ridley Scott's Blade Runner.
I wanted something dark but with lots of colours and prints popping throughout the shoot. I managed to get hold of a local nightclub which has a japanese theme so fit my geisha idea perfectly!
I put the images up today and reminded me how much I really need to start organising a fashion shoot soon! So that's the plan!
I had a fantastic team for this shoot:
Model - Saibon Wang
MUA - Emma Cadec
Stylist - Helen Waugh
To see the shoot go to Lydia Victoria Photography
This is only a quick post but I hope you enjoy the photos!
